Ara Vous was born from a creative spark between two kindred spirits—Blaine Lipton and Lauren Harper—who quickly bonded over their shared backgrounds in various forms of art and their love of all things spooky.

Their innumerable creative projects have manifested in strange and paranormal events, leading them to discover the intrinsic link between the creative process and magic ritual—a connection that has been explored by fellow artists for centuries.

They created Ara Vous to unite a community of artists who understand and value the magic of creativity, and to create a space where the ritual of the creative process can not only be explored, but thrive.

When not tapping into the dreamlike worlds of their subconscious or spreading various media across sketchbook pages, Blaine can be found tending to her vegetable garden and fighting the daily urge to overspend at local antique shops, while Lauren can be found reading through her ever-growing stack of library books and quite literally hugging trees.

At Ara Vous, their mission is simple—to empower artists to harness their creative power and create lasting change in their own lives and the lives of others.
